WhatIF?! is a multitrack programme created to support you on your digital journey. Sessions have been designed to enable broader collaboration, inspire new ways of thinking, and provide practical takeaways for day to day operations.

The programme places great emphasis on customer centricity and the application of Needs Purpose Value (NPV), which sits at the heart of Clarion’s ethos. WhatIF?! will assist the enablement of this at a visionary, strategic and tactical level.

    WhatIF?! Deliver provides tactical sessions to assist the delivery of digital and hybrid products, with a focus on the customer journey. Season 2 focuses on key building blocks for developing Customer Lifetime Value and building loyalty, through a monthly series of guest speakers and discussion groups.

    As part of Clarion’s broader D&I initiative and aligned with Pride, WhatIF?! would like to invite you to a session on LGBTQ+ in the workplace that will raise awareness of the issues the LGBTQ+ employees face in the society, and in the workplace, provide a platform of support and educate how to be an ally, as a colleague and as a manager.

    Putting customer needs and experience at the core of what we do enables the delivery of high value. To do this consistently requires needs led product design, underpinned by ongoing customer insights, which if measured intelligently provides greater strategic advantage.

    In this session we focus on building and strengthening our habits so that we can feel energised and productive in our day to day. You’ll leave those bad habits at the door and walk away with habits that support you and help you to thrive!

    Over the last few months and during the previous two WhatIF?! Inspire sessions, we have discussed and learnt about the importance of creating a customer journey that builds constant engagement throughout the year rather than driving event attendance only.

    This interactive workshop is designed to support you as a leader manage your own energy through understanding the indicators of stress and overwhelm, how to move through them and how to be high performing even in challenging times.

    The global pandemic is forcing the events businesses, traditionally rather conservative in adopting digital strategies, to rethink their business and find new ways to maximise their assets.

    Whether it’s extended periods working from home, being in isolation or navigating a new reality as we go back into the workplace, this session will help you weather the storm.

    In this second session with Laida Datoo, our wellbeing expert, we will focus on building and strengthening resilience. We will explore how we can change our perspective in the face of pressure, so that we can manage our stress responses, whatever the situation.

    Responding to market disruption successfully requires a resilient and agile workforce. However, today's fast-changing environment presents complexities in strategy development and arguably greater challenges in the execution. Strategy implementation during a period of both business transformation and a readjusting workforce requires a dynamic approach, including trial and error while learning fast. This session will focus on leading your remote team through change to ensure success of new products, ways of thinking and bringing your strategy to life.

    Transitioning from physical to digital requires a review of market posture in order for core competencies to remain relevant. This session aims to break the mould of tradeshow thinking to enable us to reposition as more than event organisers and establish resilient brands.

    A complete re-think of one’s business model is a daunting exercise. That’s where the Telegraph found itself a few years ago, in the face of rapidly declining advertising revenue – first print and then more recently digital.

    This session will empower you to pull together all your learnings and create the balance of work, rest and play that works for you! Participants will explore their values inside and outside work and learn techniques to balance priorities, whatever their situation.
