Managing your well-being mindfully
This series is part of a programme of events that will support Mental Health Week (10th – 16th May 2021) in the Europe and Mental Health Month in the US.
This session is the first in a series of 6 sessions that will run every two weeks.
This well-being series focuses on how to master your well-being and thrive while recognising that we have gone through an extreme period of change, uncertainty and often stress. These sessions are designed to arm you with awareness of your triggers, build your resilience tool kit, find calm in the chaos and improve your communication on and offline.
Each session incorporates mindfulness learning alongside practical tools and strategies that you can use the minute you join the session! By the end of the sessions you will understand yourself better and be on the path to creating positive long-term habits.
This introduction to the topic of mindfulness and the power behind the practice is a great starter for teams new to mindfulness. This session will arm you with:- The principles of mindfulness and the research that supports its effectiveness
- The science behind the practice -why our brain is complex yet so simple to re-train
- Experience through 2-3 meditation practices, such as mindful eating, the mindfulness of breathing practice and a meditation practice, learning how they can improve and enhance your professional and personal life
- Putting the practices into action – how to implement them into your routine and create a daily habit that empowers you
