Sustainability isn’t just a goal - it’s built into our business. As a global events company, we acknowledge our industry’s impact on the planet. Our mission is clear: connect people through events more sustainably. That means reducing harm while striving to create a positive impact.

Achieving this requires a collective effort. Our Global ESG Committee leads the charge, ensuring all employees understand and uphold our sustainability commitments. Our policy spans four key areas: the environment, communities, customers, and people, linking to our Code of Conduct, Health & Safety, and Data Protection policies.

Net Zero Carbon Events

We’re not just talking about change - we’re making it happen. Clarion Events is committed to reducing our emissions by 50% by 2030 and reaching Net Zero by 2045 - five years ahead of the industry-wide pledge. To get there, we’ve published our Net Zero Pathway, focusing on five key pillars:

  • Cut energy consumption at our offices and warehouses
  • Embed sustainability into our supply chain
  • Design greener events with lower environmental impact
  • Optimise business travel and invest in carbon offsets
  • Collaborate across the industry to drive meaningful change

We know we can’t do it alone. That’s why we’re proud members of the Net Zero Carbon Events initiative, working alongside industry peers to accelerate progress.

We value the expertise of our suppliers and recognise their role in delivering outstanding results. We seek partners who share our commitment to ethical, fair, and sustainable business practices.

Our Supplier Charter sets out the principles we expect from those we work with, ensuring transparency, integrity, and continuous improvement. We support our suppliers in developing better ways of working to benefit both business and society.

  • PPE distribution for First Responders: Providing essential protective equipment for firefighters and emergency responders in countries experiencing war.
