Digital Marketing Executive - Enthusiast

Fixed-term, full-time

The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Executive to work on the UK’s leading Baby Show.  Reporting to the Marketing Manager the Digital Marketing Executive will implement and be involved with the full digital marketing strategy and event campaigns. The purpose of all activities and campaigns will be to generate registrations and sell virtual passes/tickets for a range of leading regional and digital/online B2C Baby events, ‘The Baby Show Live @ Home’.

This role will allow the successful candidate to be part of a marketing team who will have a direct impact on developing the digital Baby Show events in April and June 2021.

 

The Candidate:

Strong digital marketing experience with a degree in marketing or similar with proven success in executing digital marketing campaigns. The candidate will work alongside the wider marketing team to set and deliver key metrics in accordance to the overall event marketing strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating digital marketing activities to increase event registrations/ticket sales and brand awareness
  • HTML build and implementation. Maximizing content, deliverability and open rates
  • Content management and improvements to website optimisation/functionality
  • Implementation of social campaign and scheduling of social media (various platforms)
  • Regular social audits and reporting
  • Manage SEO consultant and provide content/information where needed
  • CPC (Social & Search) campaigns, create assets/copy, analysis and reporting
  • Google Analytics analysis and reporting
  • Exploring new digital initiatives and helping integrate these into the overall digital campaign
  • Always look for new ways for automation to speed up processes
  • Be proactive in finding new content ideas for social media and website

 

Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours:

  • Experience with SEO, Google AdWords & Analytics, website content management, social media, Hootsuite, Canva, mobile apps, video, blogs
  • Experience using email marketing management such as Pardot or similar such as Adestra, HubSpot, Mailchimp
  • Event industry knowledge is highly desirable
  • The flexibility to change & adapt to new platforms and skills
  • The ability to work across a range of digital marketing disciplines, sharing and gaining best practice working within an integrated marketing team
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • A hunger to learn and keep up to date with current market trends, methods and tools
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks at any one time
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build strong and effective relationships with internal and external customers/suppliers including agencies and partners
  • Ability to generate and increase inbound web traffic
  • Ability to execute large projects to agreed deadlines
